Who is behind Companion Kingdom?

My love for animals has always been a big part of who I am. When I was 4, I got my first dog. She lived for nearly 16 years so I pretty much grew up with her. During those 16 years, I had the chance to have another dog, hamsters, guinea pigs and birds as well. When my childhood dog passed, we got another dog since our other fur baby was very sad to be alone. We then got a cat. At 19, I bought my first horse after taking constant lessons for 8 years and leasing her for 1.

The year after I bought my beautiful paint horse, I moved with my boyfriend to another town in order to work more with animals. For years, I wanted to be a vet (which I didn't do... yet, who knows!) For now, I'm working at a veterinary hospital and I am loving it. I get to see full of animals, ranging from cows and horses to dogs and birds and I get to learn a lot from working with vets. During the move, I brought my guinea pigs, my bird (I had three but 2 passed from old age) and my horse. The dogs and cat stayed at home with my family since I was moving in an apartment. A year later, we adopted a beautiful black cat and the year after that, I took a kitten born at my friend's farm that was abandoned by her mother. She was barely a month old and very sick. She's now a healthy 5 month old kitty.

I created this blog to share my knowledge and give tips and recommendations for pet care and products. I have a passion and I want to share it. I also always want to learn more so I always make research while creating my posts as well. There is always something to learn when it comes to pet care.
